Hello, I’m Tina

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about who I am and why I do the work I do. Helping people has always been at the heart of my career. I spent 20 years with Kent Ambulance Service, much of that time on front-line ambulances supporting people through trauma and crisis. I thoroughly loved my job despite the lows that we faced on a regular basis. Regretfully, I had to retire early on ill health grounds as I developed Fibromyalgia after the birth of my second child. Once I’ve become more stable on medication and treatment, I was privileged enough to be able to retrain and work as a teaching assistant, I went on to specialise in Speech, Language and Communication, supporting children with SEN, emotional wellbeing and confidence. Life then took me in a very personal direction when I became my Mum’s full-time carer. She lives with osteoporosis, severe vertigo and anxiety. Supporting her through pain, panic attacks and a very low period in her life gave me a deep, lived understanding of anxiety, overwhelm and the impact they can have - not just on the person experiencing them, but on the people around them too. During this time, I experienced my own mental health breakdown. I reached out for help and found Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, and it quite honestly changed my life. Within a few sessions, I felt hope and clarity again and I knew I had found something powerful. I have been able to manage my Fibromyalgia and cope with life with it. I’ve even managed to considerably reduce my toxic medication now which is all so empowering. That experience led me to retrain professionally, and I now hold two Level 4 Diplomas in: Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Hypnotherapy in Practice

Today, I work with people who struggle with: Anxiety stress or overwhelm Unhelpful habits Phobias My approach is calm, supportive and solution focused -no judgement, no pressure, and no reliving the past. We focus on where you are now and how to move forward feeling stronger, calmer and more in control. If you’re struggling and wondering whether hypnotherapy could help, you’re very welcome to reach out. Sometimes the bravest step is just starting the conversation, give me a call and let’s have that chat. Tina x
